Congratulations to Bill Herlihy of Connecticut who was randomly chosen as the winner of the American Red Cross Super Bowl LVII Giveaway! He and his wife, Catherine, enjoyed a weekend in sunny Arizona this past February.
Bill is a regular blood donor and has seen firsthand how blood donations can make a difference. “Personally, my wife and my sister have needed blood, so that’s always been my reason to give,” he says. Catherine needed two blood transfusions when she had their second son, which helped Bill realize just how important blood donors are to patients in need.
Bill and Catherine were excited to attend the big game, calling the experience a “once in a lifetime opportunity.” The Red Cross is grateful for our partnership with the National Football League (NFL) for helping make this possible.
