The Class of 2020
Olivia Muriel is from Long beach, California. She graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School and is currently a sophomore at Saint Katherine University. She is majoring in Kinesiology where she intends on gaining my athletic training certification after she graduates. Then, she plans on pursuing nursing afterwards. She also competes on the women's volleyball team for the University of Saint Katherine, where they were ranked top 10 in the NCCAA during her freshman year. She enjoys teaching other children volleyball because she is confident in the values she’s learned through volleyball and aims to instill those in others. She believes this is a great opportunity because she feels she can bring about change within her current community in relation to the current human necessities the American Red Cross aims to fulfill.
Trent Dungey is a student at Life University. He believes the opportunity to develop his leadership skills under the Red Cross is an immensely enriching prospect and receiving this is so fortunate. He recognizes the prestige of this that so many people dream to work for an organization such as the American Red Cross and he believes this will undoubtedly set him up for success in the future. He feels the effect on his life will create an endless chain effect on how ge can change others’ lives and be a servant leader. Trent feels the values and skills learned during this experience will carry forward into his studies, future career and the rest of his life.
Kristin Delclos is a sophomore enrolled with Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan; however, she’s lived in Virginia for most of her life. Currently, she’s an undergraduate studying Biology, hoping to go forward into Wildlife Management. Also, Kristin is an active lacrosse player on the Siena Heights team. She has been playing lacrosse for 9 years, and has done swimming, basketball, and soccer before that. She is very dedicated to volunteering, and looks for ways to help people in need.
Alexandra Mendoza is a sophomore at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL. Alexandra is currently a Recreation and Sports Management major, certified Emergency Medical Technician, and plays collegiate softball at Trinity. After graduation, Alexandra intends to work in the EMS field and become a Flight Paramedic. Alexandra is from Westmont, IL and attended Westmont High School. The American Red Cross Leadership Program is an amazing opportunity that she is grateful to be a part of. Alexandra loves to help others whenever and however she can, which played a major role in why she decided to apply for this program.
Victoria Raque is currently a sophomore accounting student at Thomas More University. She is a very active student leader and serves as a Resident Assistant. She is involved in three sports on campus including Women's Volleyball, Women's Swimming, and Women's Track. Victoria also participates in the Accounting Society and the Business Society. She is involved in several scholarship organizations including Campus Ministry Bishop Foy's Scholars, Cleave's Scholars, 4C's Scholars, and Alpha Lambda Delta. Victoria also volunteers and works with several organizations on and off campus. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, volunteering, and traveling.
Annabelle Camoirano is a student at Arizona Christian University. She plays indoor and beach volleyball at ACU and was originally born and raised in Modesto California. Her major is family studies with a minor in behavioral health. After Arizona Christian, she would like to go to grad school and further work in social work in either the foster care system or child protective services. Annabelle’s goal in life is to be a helping hand to others and be available to help others better their own lives and those around them.
Luka Eric is a sophomore at Trinity International University. He plays soccer and absolutely devotes his life to the game. Playing in college was a dream come true because he came all the way from Serbia. Luka feels blessed to have the opportunity to come to the United States to play soccer and pursue a degree in entrepreneurship and accounting.
Trinity Burdick is a sophomore attending Huntington University where she is majoring in Nursing and completing a minor in Spanish. She is from Westfield, Indiana where she graduated from Westfield High School. Trinity is also an outside midfielder on the Women's Soccer team for Huntington University and she is passionate about the Spanish language and the Hispanic community. One day, she hopes to work and care for the Hispanic community through the medical field. She loves to serve others, impact her community, and create positive environments. Trinity is so excited for this leadership program and knows that the American Red Cross will help her achieve her goals and teach her invaluable lessons. She feels God has gifted her incredibly and her life goal is to use those gifts to bless, love, and connect to others.
Paige Johnson grew up in Howell, Michigan. She studies Biology and Chemistry at Concordia University Ann Arbor. Paige is a point guard on the Women’s Basketball team at Concordia and she is also a scribe in the Emergency Department at Providence Park Hospital. She is the daughter to Carrie and Brogan Johnson. Sister to Kayla, Tyler, and Solei and she strives to go to medical school and specialize in Emergency Medicine.
Life Granville is a student at Bethel University and he is excited and grateful for this opportunity to work with the American Red Cross! Life has personally experienced working with the Red Cross after his hometown of Houston was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. Seeing the love and heart of the organization, he cannot express how much of a blessing it us to partner with the Red Cross and help serve people. He anticipates growing the Red Cross involvement and volunteers not only on campus, but also in the South Bend area. Life feels that big things are ahead and he can't wait to get started!
Isaac Rudolph is a student at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS. He is currently working on a triple-major in Secondary Education, Social Science, and Theology while serving as a Resident Assistant, playing collegiate baseball, and serving as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Benedictine baseball team. Isaac's future goal is to be a teacher and coach at the high-school level, and to dedicate his life to helping others discover what potential their future holds. Isaac sees working with the American Red Cross as an opportunity to lead people in achieving a common goal: the livelihood of others.
Ellie Nelson is a sophomore biomedical engineering student who plays on the women's soccer team at Indiana Tech. She gives campus tours for prospective students and serves as a residential assistant in the dorms. She is interested in a career in the medial field and hopes to attend medical school after graduation.
Emily Greenhouse is a nursing student at Cedarville University, Class of 2022, with a minor in Spanish for Healthcare Personnel. She plans to work as a labor and delivery nurse, with the intention to later pursue a Master’s Degree and become a nurse practitioner. In her free time, Emily enjoys singing in Cedarville’s acapella group, playing the piano, and traveling.
