WILKES-BARRE, PA — The Northeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the American Red Cross honored McCarthy’s Tire Service with a Community Impact Award during its Heroes Celebration on April 16 in Wilkes-Barre.
McCarthy’s Truck Repair Shop services Red Cross vehicles in the Northeastern Pennsylvania Blood Services Region. Recognizing the critical role that blood often plays in a patient’s recovery, Truck Service Manager Kevin Duffy and his team are committed to ensuring the region’s fleet of Biomedical vehicles are ready for action.
Going well above and beyond traditional maintenance, McCarthy’s provides responsive service – completing jobs overnight, providing early-morning roadside service and even driving mobile busses themselves – all to ensure that blood drives operate on schedule and patients have access to lifesaving treatment.
