Fox43 Community Blood Drive

Fox43 and Red Cross encourage York Community to roll up their sleeves York, Pa.

The Fox43 Community and the American Red Cross will host a blood drive at the Jewish Community Center on Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. To help satisfy the urgent need for blood and blood products, the American Red Cross and Fox43 are hosting their seventh blood drive together within the last two years. Fox43 has been an asset in rallying the York Community to help give back the gift of life.

Bonnie Rill, Red Cross Account Representative says: “The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community.” All eligible donors and first time donors are encouraged to donate! Click here to make an appointment.

The Red Cross must collect nearly 14,000 blood donations every day for patients at approximately 2,600 hospitals across the country.

To show our appreciation, there will be a drawing every hour for a $10.00 gift card for all presenting donors! At the end of the drive, all presenting donors will be entered into a raffle for a $100.00 gift card! To top if off, all presenting donors will also be entered to win a $1000 shopping spree! And... all presenting donors will receive a Red Cross T-Shirt while supplies last.
