One never knows

Giving blood during graduate school in North Carolina, the Girl Scout cookies were the definite draw at the time. While working in Baltimore, giving whole blood to be used by sick children definitely made it feel worthwhile. However, donating blood now, back to the mid-Missouri community who so generously gave when my son required blood transfusions during treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma, was and still is, the most gratifying act of all! One never knows when a loved one will need blood. Please give if you can!
