             Vacation Giveaway with Donation of Blood!

Ashley, PA-(February 5, 2013) –The American Red Cross has partnered with Sundance Vacations to encourage all eligible blood donors to come out and donate.  All presenting blood donors between January 1st and February 28th will be entered into a raffle with a chance to win a getaway of their choice of Myrtle Beach or Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Region is participating in a Vacation Giveaway through Sundance Vacations.

  • Grand Prize: eight (8) days/seven (7) nights’ condominium accommodations. The number of including persons depends on the unit booked. Units can accommodate up to two (2), four (4) or six (6) people. The choice of either Myrtle Beach, SC or Hilton Head, SC will be determined by the winner.
  • The winner will also receive one – five hundred dollar ($500.00) VISA gift card that can be used toward traveling expenses (or at the discretion of the winner).

It’s through the everyday support and generosity of blood and platelet donors that the Red Cross can be prepared to carry out its mission day-in and day-out, no matter when or where blood products are needed.

Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in PA), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.  Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID when you come to donate.
