Mizzou Homecoming Blood Drive a huge success

October 18, 2010

The American Red Cross is pleased to announce that it collected 4,217 units of blood last week at the 25th Annual University of Missouri Homecoming Blood Driver, surpassing the goal of 4,000 units Since each blood donation can help save up to three lives, the drive will potentially have a positive impact on more than 12,600 individuals. The Red Cross is extremely grateful to the University students and faculty, the Alumni Association and the Columbia community for making this event such a big success.
