American Red Cross Gives Lalaloopsy Dolls to Pediatric Patients this Season

December 19, 2011

This holiday season join the American Red Cross and Lalaloopsy in bringing a smile to the face of a young hospital patient, their family and even yourself!

When you come to give blood on Tuesday, December 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you’ll not only help save lives and honor nurses, you’ll also be a part of the donation of the new Rosy Bumps ‘N’ Bruises™ LalaloopsyTM rag dolls to McLaren Regional Medical Center Auditorium, 401 S. Ballenger Highway, for children in their care.

Lalaloopsy dolls have a unique personality inspired by the fabric from which each is made. Rosy Bumps ‘N’ Bruises was sewn from bits of a nurse’s uniform and always puts safety first, which is a mission she shares with the American Red Cross. She loves to drink orange juice and to put on bandages – whether they’re needed or not – so she’s a perfect fit for a Red Cross blood drive!

Attendees will be invited to sign a special card that will accompany the gift of dolls.

Thank you for helping others this holiday season!!
