The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported an increase in measles cases.

If you have been exposed to a person with measles…

You can still donate if you have met at least one of the following:

• Are healthy and well and have been vaccinated for measles at least 4 weeks ago
• Are healthy and well and the exposure was at least 4 weeks ago (regardless of vaccination status)
• Are healthy and well and were born before 1957 (regardless of vaccination status)

If you do not meet any of the above criteria, please defer donation until 4 weeks after your last exposure.
