Job Summary: Drive vehicle to pick-up and deliver blood units to local area hospitals and blood collection sites. Drive vehicle to pick-up and deliver volunteers to and from mobile and fixed site drive locations. May perform additional transport duties such as mail delivery to fixed sites etc, to support ARCBS. May need to fill in at Packs, canteen and registration functions
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures, Safety, quality, identify, Potency and Purity (SQUIPP) regulations outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other applicable Federal, state and local regulations.
Drive vehicle to pick-up.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Scope: This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and safety requirements, including but not limited to: Code of Federal Regulations (CFR’s);
Investigational New Drug (IND) approval; Local Operating Procedures (LOP’s); Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Foundation for the Accreditation of Hematopoietic Cell Therapy (FAHCT); and federal, state and local directives.
Qualifications: Valid Driver’s liscence. High school diploma. Must have experience working in the volunteer recruitment environment. Must be trained on all tasks and policies of volunteer environment. Excellent people skills; must have proven experience interacting positively with other in a variety of setting, showing good judgement, flexibility, and appropriate insight.
