Clerical Assistant Volunteer

Job Summary: Basic clerical duties, answer telephones, enter pledge cards into excel spreadsheet database, Call pledge cards of volunteers. Sort and Label pledge cards. Retrieve pledge cards through the mail. Retrieve mail. Assist in rescheduling volunteers who are in the area Friendly demeanor is a must. 
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures, Safety, quality, identify, Potency and Purity (SQUIPP) regulations outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other applicable Federal, state and local regulations.
Major Responsibilities:
Basic office clerical work (preferred)
Performs related duties as assigned.
Scope: This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and safety requirements, including but not limited to: Code of Federal Regulations (CFR’s);
Investigational New Drug (IND) approval; Local Operating Procedures (LOP’s); Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Foundation for the Accreditation of Hematopoietic Cell Therapy (FAHCT); and federal, state and local directives.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. (high school students can apply)  Clerical experience is preferred. Must have experience working in the volunteer recruitment environment. Must be trained on all tasks and policies of volunteer environment. Excellent people skills; must have proven experience interacting positively with other in a variety of setting, showing good judgment, flexibility, and appropriate insight.
