Donor Ambassador

Volunteers like you help ensure every blood donor has a rewarding experience so they will return to save another life. As a Receptionist, Donor Escort or Hospitality Host you are an essential blood drive team member. Don’t wait another day to find out how good it feels to make a difference in someone’s life!  

Shifts vary depending on location. Most shifts occur Monday through Friday, last 3-4 hours and are between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Community Outreach

Volunteers like you are the face of the Red Cross at fairs, festivals and community events.  In this vital role you will educate the public about Red Cross  programs, blood donation and volunteering. Every connection you build may save up to 3 lives.

Shift times and dates vary depending on the event.


Office Assistant

Volunteers like you support departments as they work to provide life-saving blood to hospital patients. You’ll partner with paid staff on vital office projects such as: data entry, correspondence, preparing packets, filing and more. Share and develop your professional skills as you help others! 

Days and times vary and can be on-going or one-time opportunities depending on position needs.


Phone Team

Team Volunteering

Groups like yours (retiree, civic, faith based, youth etc.) partner with Red Cross to ensure the success of community blood drives.  Choose to make an even bigger impact by hosting your own blood drive!  What a great way for a group to receive visibility and make a difference locally!

Team opportunities vary by community and blood drive needs.

 

Whole Blood, Double Red Cell or Platelet Donor

Would you like to volunteer but have a limited amount of time?  Just an hour or two can mean a lifetime to someone who needs blood.  Giving blood is easy, safe and rewarding.
