Volunteers are critical to the American Red Cross Blood Services' mission of supplying the safest possible, most reliable, most cost effective blood through voluntary donations. As an American Red Cross volunteer you can help others, gain experience and make friends. Your talents will be used to help the Red Cross to provide blood to people in need.
The American Red Cross is an organization governed, supported and primarily staffed by volunteers. Today, 1.3 million Americans throughout the nation are Red Cross volunteers. The Massachusetts Region depends upon its volunteers to provide services that are essential to its mission. We truly could not save lives without you!
The American Red Cross is dedicated to providing life saving blood services to patients in need. Local Blood Drives are vital to supporting our regions blood supply and volunteers are vital to our Blood Drives.
Volunteers are needed to register donors and to attend to donors at our refreshment areas where beverages and snacks are provided. Volunteers are essential to our donors experience with the Red Cross, which keeps them coming back to donate!
