Volunteer Refreshment Server
Job Summary: Provide excellent customer service to blood donors. Perform canteen set up and tear down.
Major Responsibilities: Provide refreshments to blood donors. Observe for blood donor needs. Reschedule blood donor appointments. Provide staff with arm ice and/or beverages for blood donors. Check blood donor cards for gallon pin rewards and take pictures of blood donors in the Donor Room.
Scope: Perform a variety of support functions to provide excellent customer service to blood donors.
Qualifications: Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: The duties are representative of the essential functions of the position. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods of time. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs.
