Both my parents died from cancer. My mother in law had cancer & had surgery, chemo,& radiation. She needed blood transfusions so I began donating before any of that happened. My youngest daughter had an orthodontist appt & they were having a blood drive at her high school. She goaded me into donating & ive been donating now for over 14 years. I believe we should do all we can to help others. If I can donate & save a life, they may get another opportunity to comfort to know Jesus. That's worth a few minutes of my time. It's addictive,& makes me feel good about myself
