proud long term donor

I first gave blood at the age of 18 in 1968. I gave sporatically until my time in the U.S. Army in Heidelberg, Germany, and then I gave very regularly during my Army time - 15 pints - to go w/ 3 before volunteering for service. After discharge, I was a committed road runner and avoided giving, but since about 1985, I have been very regular, and my next donation will be my 200th pint, gallon 25, something I am very proud of because it reflects long-term commitment (45 years) of continued dedication. I am hoping that for my 25th gallon (scheduled for July 23), I will actually receive that pin on site rather than having to wait for it in the mail.
