Blood is a precious resource; without blood donors, many patients simply would not be alive today. Open your heart - open it wide; someone is standing outside. Family isn't always blood. Blood costs nothing to give yet is more valuable than any other resource on earth. Have you had a kindness shown? Pass it on; it was not given for thee alone, Pass it on; Let it travel down the years, Let it wipe another's tears. Accidents and medical emergencies don’t take holidays - patients need blood every minute, every day of the year. The blood you donate gives someone another chance at life. One day that someone may be a close relative, a friend, a loved one—or even you. Blood is that fragile scarlet tree we carry within us. “Reach for the stars and become one yourself and be looked at by all those around you, or try to accomplish the impossible and become a legend that doesn’t need gratitude, but knowing that a dream was their own reality are the two hero’s that exist today; As I am now, I am not either but I hope to be.” Are there things that you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left. That can still be rearranged…
