My father Bob McAdow was an active blood donor in Tulsa. OK. As a young boy I would go with my father when he donated blood. While he was donating, the nice Red Cross ladies would give me sanwiches, chips and cookies -I thought that was great! When I turned 18, I gave my first pint at a Mobile unit at Texaco Refinery. I now have donated 16 gallons; my father donated 18 gallons before he died. I have also sponsored Blood Drives at First Church in OKC!
