I started back donating in late 2011. At age 40 my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer. At age 45 she passed away. Then my son ended up with melanoma, stage 4. Has taken chemo and is now on a new pill that has vanished all signs of the BIG C, I am grateful. I have been doing platelets as much as I can in 2012 and will continue to do so until they won't take any more. I'm doing this so that I may be able to help someone else who is receiving chemo.
