my blood donation story

hi my name is Vanessa Geary, I tried giving blood 7 times before I was able too once in my junior and senior year but I was declined because at the time i was taking seizure medications. After I got off my seizure medications I went to try again 5 more times after I graduated high school and I was declined either because my iron levels were low or my blood pressure was too high or they couldn't find a vain. and finally on august 2, 2012 I was able to give blood at the LDS church building in Frontenac Missouri. They were able to find a vein and my vitals were fine. Although I was a little nervious but in the end after every thing was over I felt this sense of relief because I finally did it and I saved 3 lives. and to get this letter from red cross saying I saved some lives and my blood time was really touching.
