I started donating 25 years ago because my parents did. My last donation, I learned after all these years, I was CMV negative and my blood generally goes to babies. Having children, it is an extra incentive to give however, the fact that there is NO REPLACEMENT for blood, giving the gift of life, should be incentive enough.
