blood giving saved my life

On November 10, 2003, I was a passenger in a car crash with a tree, resulting in me being life flighted to Pittsburgh, 24 staples on the left side of my head, being in a coma for 3 months, I suffered from a traumatic brain injury and was totally paralyzed on my left side. I was on life support and had a tracheostomy, and a feeding tube, I received at least one blood transfusion that I know of and I will, every chance I get, I give blood because my little incident made me realize how important giving blood is! Since my tragedy I live in my own apartment, go to Bethany College and have a job. I told Tanner Coles why I always give blood and he encouraged me to do this.
