For our babies

In 2005 after 3 years of trying to get pregnant, we finally conceived our precious baby boy Jacob. Struggling with a difficult pregnancy, I gave birth to Jacob at 24 weeks gestation. Our strong little angel fought everyday but his poor little body just wasn't able to survive on its own and required blood transfusions weekly. Donors made it possible to spend 5 months to know this little miracle who filled our lives up with love. Jacob and I share the same blood type and he is my motivation to donate so other mothers may get the chance to know and love their babies, just as numerous donors had done for us. I am grateful for each and every donor out there who took the time to give the gift of life. I in turn will always do the same in his memory.
