Giving Back and Giving Thanks!

I just donated blood for the eight time...I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to help save others' lives. My grandmother was diagnosed with MS or pre-leukemia two years ago, and her constant blood transfusions saved her life. At one point she was visiting the hospital every five days for a transfusion. Seeing her go through that struggle was hard on the entire family, and we were so thankful for the many people that had donated to save her life. She beat the odds for beating MS, and I donate whenever possible in memory of those who helped save her life.
