2011-2012 Annual High School Scholarship Competition

The American Red Cross Penn-Jersey Blood Services Region is pleased to announce the 10th annual essay competition. There will be one top winner in Pennsylvania and New Jersey whose residence is within the jurisdiction of the Penn-Jersey Blood Services Region.

The students whose essays are judged the winning entries will each receive a scholarship for $1,000.  CLICK HERE to learn more.

2011-2012 Sickle Cell Scholarship Competition

The American Red Cross Penn-Jersey Blood Services Region is pleased to announce an essay competition and scholarship award focused on increasing awareness of the need for blood donors to support the blood transfusions needs of patients living with Sickle Cell Disease.

High school students play an important role in keeping the blood supply stable. Some students help by donating blood while others participate in committees and volunteer at blood drives.
