During this busy summer time period, blood donations often decline due to vacation and summer activities, but the need for blood remains constant. Make giving the gift of life a part of your summer plans. Donate blood or platelets today. Patients need your help. Rules and Conditions:

• All presenting blood and platelet donors will be issued one entry form to be entered in the grand prize drawing.
• All references herein to the American Red Cross shall mean the American Red Cross Blood Services.
• Contest period begins July 1, 2010 and ends at the close of collections on September 30, 2010.
• Entry tickets are non-transferable and have no cash value and the odds of winning are based on the number of entrants.
• The Red Cross reserves the right to disqualify any entrant.
• Decision of the judges is fi nal in determining the winners through an impartial drawing after September 30, 2010. The names of the grand prize winners will be announced and made available by contacting 1-800-RED CROSS or by visiting our Web site at redcrossblood.org.
• Grand prize winner will sign statement acknowledging responsibility for all associated tax. The grand prize winner will sign a release, as a condition of accepting the grand prize, that his/her name, likeness, name of community and testimony may be used in Red Cross publicity of any type. Minors must have the written permission of a parent or legal guardian.
• The grand prize winner, in signing the above mentioned release as a condition of accepting the grand prize, will acknowledge and agree that it is understood that no part of the grand prize is transferable and that no part of the grand prize will be converted to cash or other financial gain.
• The Red Cross is not responsible for accidents/damage to property or person incurred while using the grand prize.
• Grand prize winner must show valid identifi cation to claim prize and minors may accept the prize with identifi cation and signed permission of a parent or legal guardian.
• Red Cross employees or family members of Red Cross employees are not eligible to win.
