A safe and sufficient blood supply is a critical public health issue. Increasingly, hospitals are becoming more advanced in lifesaving medical procedures. Many of the advances, however,
would not be possible without one key component that only generous donors can give: blood.
The American Red Cross South Carolina Blood Services Region counts on news media to help us make sure blood is on the shelf every time somebody sick or badly injured needs it.
