Donor Stories

I have been a blood donor for many years. Donating blood is easy to do and can help save lives. I first donated in 1953 and became a gallon donor two years later. According to my Red Cross donor ID card, I have donated a total of 248 units of blood and platelets and that doesn’t include some of my earliest donations. I am also the blood drive coordinator for the Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph Church in Vancouver, Washington.
