Steve Stegeman

Chief Executive Officer of the American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region

Steve has been an employee of the American Red Cross since 1999 holding various finance, planning and strategy development positions at the national headquarters and field. Steve relocated to Portland, Oregon in 2006 to serve as the Senior Director, Business Planning for the Western Frontier Division (providing finance and planning support for Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho and Montana operations.) Since June 2008, Steve has served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Pacific Northwest Region.

Prior to the American Red Cross, he worked healthcare finance administration for integrated healthcare systems in Virginia and Ohio. Steve received his BS in Business from Miami University and his Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA.) Steve lives in Southeast Portland with spouse Julie, and daughter Harper.

Priscilla Roberts

Board Chair, Board of Directors, Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region 

Priscilla Roberts is the Board Chair of the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region.  She has been a blood donor and platelet donor for many years. She has donated over 200 units and coordinates blood drives at work and church.

During a blood drive donation at work, a volunteer asked Priscilla is she ever thought about donating platelets.  She said she did not know what a platelet was, so she said, no.  After attending her first Platelet Donor Recognition Dinner, she noticed that her employer, Intel, didn’t have an Apheresis Club for their employees. She started a club at work which has over 100 members that donate platelets on a regular basis.  She was recognized at the Breakfast of Champions in 2007 for the work she had done in establishing the Apheresis Club.

Priscilla lives in Aloha, Oregon, with her husband.  They are active with their grandchildren, church, their classic car club and volunteering with the American Red Cross.
