Vols vs. Vandy Blood Battle!
The Vols vs. Vandy
Friendly Competition Could Impact Thousands of Lives
The University of Tennessee Vols and the Vanderbilt Commodores are going head to head on the football field and their fans are going arm to arm at the blood banks November 12-17. The battle off the field is to help the American Red Cross save lives in our community.
Anna Smith (shown above) is a UT graduate. She believes donating blood is a responsibility we have for our community and as an avid Vols fan, she can’t think of a more poignant way to support their team’s legacy. “We’re volunteers!” said Smith. “In the spirit of volunteerism, we should all give blood.”
Alumni, fans, and the community are encouraged to show their team spirit by donating blood or platelets!
