Nashville Sounds Fans Help Save Lives!

Donors Receive Free Ticket to Upcoming Game, T-Shirts, and the Chance to Win a $3,000 American Express Gift Card!

WHAT: Nashville Sounds Blood Drive

WHERE: Greer Stadium at 534 Chestnut Street in Nashville, TN

WHEN: July 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHY: In recent months, the American Red Cross blood supply has taken a serious hit. School’s out and many families go out of town on vacation. But, while you’re relaxing by the pool enjoying the warm weather, take a moment to think about the people spending their summer inside a hospital.  Their need is constant.

To help save lives, on July 24, the American Red Cross and the Nashville Sounds are partnering for the Nashville Sounds Blood Drive.

“We have held blood drives like this in the past, but this year, the drive comes at a time when the American Red Cross is in urgent need of donors,” said Michael Bigley, Director of Community Relations for the Nashville Sounds. “We encourage all of our wonderful fans to roll up their sleeves and help save a life!”

All fans who come to donate will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Nashville Sounds baseball game. In addition, we are excited to announce this special drive is part of our Rock and Roll Up Your Sleeve summer campaign.  That means all presenting donors will receive a rock and roll themed t-shirt and be eligible to win a Gibson guitar, courtesy of The Gibson Foundation! And, as a special incentive for our young donors, anyone aged 16-21 can enter to win a $5,000 scholarship!
