Get the facts about bone marrow and umbilical cord blood donation and learn how you can help patients in need.

The Be The Match Registry offers people the unique opportunity to help a patient in need by donating bone marrow or umbilical cord blood. For more than 20 years the program has been helping patients receive the transplants they need. Thousands of patients with leukemia and other life-threatening diseases depend on the registry to find a match.

The American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region and the national Marrow Donor Program invite you to learn more about how you can help and to join the Be The Match Registry. To join, you only need to be between the ages of 18 and 60, be willing to donate to any patient in need and meet the health guidelines. There is no cost to join the registry; everyone meeting the health guidelines will be entered into the registry regardless of ability to make a donation.
