Red Cross, Sport Clips Haircuts partner to offer haircuts to blood and platelet donors
Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region
The American Red Cross and Sport Clips Haircuts are teaming up to show that “Saving Lives Never Looked So Good.” During the month of September, those who come to give blood or platelets at participating Red Cross blood drives and blood donation centers will receive a coupon for a free haircut.
“We are excited to team up with Sport Clips locations across the country for this national promotion in September,” said Jared Schultzman, communications manager, Red Cross Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region. ”You can get a fresh new look for free – just for helping save lives through blood donation.”
“Sport Clips began our partnership with the Red Cross in the Carolinas in 2009, and we are pleased to grow the program into a nationwide effort,” said Martha England, vice president of marketing for Sport Clips. “We look forward to supporting the Red Cross’ important mission in September. You’ll not only feel good about your contribution, but you’ll look good, too!”
Eligible donors can visit redcrossblood.org/sport-clips to find more information about the promotion and to find a participating blood drive.
