Good to Give, Good to Go Contest Winners Announced! |
From Tuesday, September 20 through Friday, September 30, the American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region held the Good to Give, Good to Go contest. Blood or platelet donors who presented to donate at any American Red Cross donor center or mobile blood drive throughout Oregon and Washington were entered in a daily drawing for a $100 gas card.

Donor eligibility involves minimum age, weight and health requirements. Donors must present a donor card, driver's license or two other forms of ID prior to donation. Individuals unable to donate blood can still make a contribution by sponsoring a Red Cross blood drive or volunteering with a local Red Cross Blood Services Region, making a financial contribution, or by learning more about the American Red Cross Humanitarian Services.“At a time when gas prices are nearly $4.00 a gallon, we’re pleased to reward donors with a chance to win a gas card and fill their tank on us,” said region CEO Steve Stegeman.
