Pleasant Hill Donor Center Open on Easter

The need for blood never takes a break – not even for holidays. And for that reason the American Red Cross Pleasant Hill Blood Donation Center will keep its normal business hours on Easter (Sunday, March 31).

The center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for whole blood and double red cell donations. And all presenting blood donors will receive a coupon for free ice cream.

Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission), meet height and weight requirements (at least 110 pounds based on height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. All donors must bring a valid photo ID.
