ELLSWORTH, Wis. — An American Red Cross blood drive will be held on Wednesday, March 18 in memory of Army Reserve Spc. Bert E. Hoyer at the Ellsworth High School. Hoyer lost his life on March 10, 2004 when an improvised explosive device hit his convoy while he was serving in Iraq.
