QDOBA MEXICAN GRILL® AND AMERICAN RED CROSS KICK OFF SECOND ANNUAL “GREAT FOOD GREAT CAUSE” CAMPAIGN

BOSTON – Qdoba Mexican Grill® is pleased to announce the fast-casual brand is teaming up with the American Red Cross for their second annual “Great Food Great Cause” campaign in the greater Boston area.  All presenting donors at a Red Cross blood drive in Eastern Massachusetts during the month of April will receive a coupon for a free signature burrito (including naked burritos) at Qdoba Mexican Grill.*   

This is the second year in a row that Qdoba and Red Cross have partnered together in the month of April to encourage donors to give blood in return for a Qdoba favorite. Last year, Qdoba and the Red Cross provided a “thank you” gift to more than 12,000 presenting donors.

About American Red Cross
The American Red Cross has been a primary supplier of lifesaving blood products in the United States for more than 50 years. The American Red Cross Blood Services - Northeast Division must distribute approximately 3,000 units of blood each day just to meet the basic needs of area patients. To donate blood and platelets through the Red Cross, individuals must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health.  The states of Maine, Massachusetts and New York allow those who are 16 years of age to donate blood with parental consent. *The coupon is valid at all 18 Qdoba locations in Massachusetts only and no purchase is necessary to receive the free Signature Burrito. Guests can try signature flavors like the Poblano Pesto, Ancho Chile BBQ,Fajita Ranchera, Grilled Veggie and Queso burritos as well as the Naked Burrito®.  Prizes are not redeemable for cash and non-transferable.
