Car Dealership Offering Prizes, Coupons to Presenting Donors
Lansing, Mi – As the summer months come to an end, American Red Cross officials are encouraging all eligible donors to make and keep appointments to donate blood. Williams Auto World in Lansing is offering incentives to individuals who do just that for their September 9 blood drive.
“I know the importance of blood donation. You help save lives,” said Williams Auto World Owner Jeff Williams. “But, if we can provide people an additional reason to come out to donate, we’re happy to do it!”
Williams, in conjunction with Guardian Glass, will be holding a cookout during the blood drive, offering all presenting donors a hot dog lunch. In addition, Williams has donated prize giveaways.
The blood drive will be 10:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. in the parking lot of Williams Auto World – 2845 E. Saginaw, Lansing – Thursday, Sept. 2. This is a special American Red Cross blood bus drive.
The American Red Cross Great Lakes Blood Services Region recently issued an urgent call for blood donors. The Red Cross closely monitors national and local blood supplies to ensure donations are keeping pace with hospital need for blood products in order to meet ongoing and emergency patient care.
