Sheerin Berkhead of Eden, NC, wins Red Cross gift card

Sheerin Berkhead of Eden, NC, has won a $1,000 gift card from the Carolinas Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross.  Berkhead was one of three winners in the Give Blood & See America promotion held July – September.

A first-time American Red Cross blood donor, Berkhead donated at Leaksville-Spray Elementary School.  Berkhead called her first donation experience, enjoyable and very rewarding.

Joining them was Leaksville-Spray Elementary School teacher and blood drive sponsor, Julie Cresenzo (far left) and Ada Wells, blood services coordinator of the Rockingham County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
