Page has been a part of the blood banking industry since she graduated from the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in Richmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. She subsequently worked in the MCV Hospital Blood Bank for just over ten years in positions of increasing responsibility.
She left the hospital environment to join the American Red Cross’ Mid Atlantic Regional Blood Center in Norfolk VA, as Laboratory Operations Manager in 1989. She was promoted to Technical Director and then Administrative Director at the Region before being promoted to a Division role in Hospital Sales and Services Management. In that role, she travelled and worked with blood services regions throughout the east coast focusing on hospital relations and services. In 2003 she was appointed Director of Sales and Operations at the American Red Cross headquartered in Baltimore, a post she held until accepting the appointment of Chief Executive Officer for the Mid-Atlantic Region in February 2012.
