Jeff Sakaguchi, Board Member 2012-2015

Jeff Sakaguchi is a community volunteer and business advisor with more than 30 years of business and executive management experience. He has served on the board of the Los Angeles Region of the American Red Cross since 2005, and chairs the Board Governance & Nominating Committee. He is a former Chairman of the Board of the LA Region, and is serving as an appointee to the Red Cross National Philanthropic Board.
Professionally, he serves as a board member and chairs the Innovation & Technology Committee of True Blue, Inc., a publicly-traded temporary staffing company. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors for Neah Power Systems, a publicly-traded early-stage fuel cell development and manufacturing company. He also serves as a board member of Eccentex, Inc., an early-stage software company. Before this, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Evolution Robotics Retail, Inc., an early-stage technology company developing robotic vision and object recognition software for the retail industry.
Jeff was appointed Commissioner of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, is an Educational Counselor for MIT, and a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Jeff lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife, Nini, and son, Cooper.
