Lorraine Pacana of North Tonawanda got more than satisfaction when she donated blood for the first time to the American Red Cross. Lorraine won the Sony 5.1 Channel Home Theatre System, 46” Samsung LCD TV and Blu-ray disc player. For years, Lorraine wanted to give blood and finally got the courage. She was thrilled at how easy the whole experience was and feels blessed to not only have been able to donate but to be the big winner. Lorraine understands the importance of blood being available when it’s needed because she was a recipient once. She plans to give again. |

Humberto Maciel is a college student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy. He too is a first time blood donor that plans to give again. Humberto won the HP Pavilion Notebook computer. It was perfect timing because his laptop had run its course and he was in need of a new one.
