2012 Beaver Platelet Donor Recognition Dinner

Nearly three dozen platelet donors were recognized at the Greater Alleghenies Region's annual Beaver platelet donor recognition dinner held Thursday, October 25, at the Holiday Inn, Beaver Falls.

Special guests included Holly and Hannah Hannum of Beaver Falls. Hannah, Holly’s daughter, received platelet transfusions while she was being treated for myelodysplastic syndrome.
