Local Promotion Winners

The American Red Cross looks for every opportunity to thank donors who save countless lives by donating blood throughout the year. Whenever possible the Red Cross and our corporate partners run local promotions to give a little something back to blood donors who give so much!

Below is a list of local blood donors who have won items in recent promotions. Please check back often as this page will be updated frequently.

December 2009 - Best Buy

BEST BUY HELPS THE AMERICAN RED CROSS “GIVE BACK” TO BLOOD DONORS
		Don A. Carpenter of Manchester, CT has won a Pocket High Definition Camcorder from the Connecticut Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross. Carpenter was the Grand Prize Winner in the December 2009 Best Buy Promotion. He donated at the St. James blood drive in Manchester, CT. It was his 238th blood donation!

	Below is a list of the local blood donors who were the selected winners for the February 2010 Warm Your Heart Warm Your Home promotion. A winner was selected each week in the month of February 2010. Each winner won $200.00 that will be paid towards the costs of their heating bills. Karen Scott of Westport, CT Karen donated on February 4th at Fairfield County Donor Center. Stephen Schoech of Kensington, CT Stephen donated on February 9th at the Berlin VFW. Terrianne Talbot of Ellington, CT Terrianne donated on February 19th at the TSI Harley Davidson in Ellington. Linda Shields of Deep River, CT Linda donated on February 23rd at the Deep River Ambulance Association.

Below is a list of the local blood donors who were the selected winners for the February 2010 Warm Your Heart Warm Your Home promotion. A winner was selected each week in the month of February 2010. Each winner won $200.00 that will be paid towards the costs of their heating bills.
