Attention high school and college students!
Are you looking for a college scholarship? Are you looking for leadership experience? Want to make a big difference in your community? The American Red Cross may have the answer for you.
BloodStock is a scholarship opportunity for high school and college students. Student blood drive coordinators (BDCs) will gain a meaningful leadership and community service experience. In addition, BDCs may become eligible to win a college scholarship, receive a letter of recommendation from the American Red Cross and a $50 gift card!
Blood Drive Coordinator Selection Process and Responsibilities
Students should submit an online application to participate in the BDC selection process. Applicants must be between the ages of 16-24 to participate. Students will be contacted by a local American Red Cross representative to discuss their potential as a BloodStock BDC.
Selected BDCs will work hand-in-hand with an American Red Cross representative as they lead a team of recruiters in hosting a life-saving blood drive. A successful BloodStock blood drive can help ensure a safe blood supply.
Scholarship Drawing Criteria
Student BDCs who meet the following criteria are eligible to win a scholarship. See contest rules for other requirements and more information. Scholarship will be paid to an institution and not to an individual.
