26th Annual Madison Holiday Blood Drive
Madison, WI 53713
More than 16,000 pints of blood have been donated through the American Red Cross at the Holiday Blood Drive since its beginning in 1986. This year, the Red Cross hopes more than 600 people will come out to donate blood and help ensure a sufficient supply into the New Year.
“The annual Holiday Blood Drive has become a lifesaving tradition. For 25 years, generous community members have stepped up for patients in need by giving blood during the busy holiday season,” said Greg Novinska, CEO of the Red Cross Badger-Hawkeye Blood Services Region. “When you donate blood, you can give someone an opportunity to spend another holiday with their loved ones.”
All presenting donors will receive a t-shirt and can enter for a chance to win great raffle prizes at the 26th Annual Holiday Blood Drive. Blood donors can also bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin. Cash donations to Second Harvest will also be accepted.
