Sponsor Recognition Program

The Central Ohio Region Sponsor Recognition Program is a partnership with organizations to encourage regular blood drives and blood donations.  We recognize blood drive sponsors in four levels based on how many drives they hold each year.   To see a list of our sponsors and to learn more about the program CLICK HERE

 

Nurses Continuing Education Program

Independent-study CE activities are available for nurses through our Give an Hour, Get an Hour program.  The continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  Click here for more.
 
 

Elementary and Middle School Programs

 
Through two youth programs for elementary and middle school, young students can learn about blood as a medicine, participate in a community service project, and be a hero to patients in need. Click here for more.
 

Ohio State vs. Michigan Blood Battle since 1982

Since 1982 students and fans of OSU and University of Michigan have battled to donate the most blood leading up to their anticipated football game each November.  For more information on this annual campaign, click here
