Problem Investigator Associate – Internal Only

This position is responsible for ensuring that all problems assigned are correctly identified, risks are accurately assessed, appropriate immediate actions are taken including investigation, analysis and permanent resolution of problems. Donor Services Manager

Job Duties: Manage the collection operation for mobile and fixed site allogeneic and specialized blood products (e.g., pheresis, autologous, directed) to ensure the achievement of annual goals in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible. Establish and oversee implementation of staffing and deployment policies and ensure the development of local operating policies and procedures. Assist in Board/Committee level planning, analyze and remedy efficiency issues and ensure training in and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Establish and oversee deployment of appropriate staffing levels to ensure the efficient and effective collection of blood and blood products to meet annual collection goals and regional patient need. Develop and ensure the implementation of local operating procedures, quality control procedures and staff training protocols to assure compliance with ARCBS directives, the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and local policies and procedures.  Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing, management, related field, or equivalent is required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum six years of related experience including 3 years of management experience is required. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively, analyze problems and implement appropriate solutions, and assimilate information quickly. Ability to work independently while developing functioning teams among staff. Regional Account Manager

Responsible for a territory with potential annual sales revenue ranging from $15 - $50 million dollars   Includes responsibility of 30 to 130 hospital customers. Serve as a liaison between customers (Blood Bank Supervisors, Physicians, Hospital Administration, Chapters) and the MO/IL blood services region. Design, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies; Identify target accounts, opportunities for new accounts, expansion of existing accounts and local promotional strategies.  Monitor relationships between hospitals and Regional Blood Centers to ensure that quality delivery and service is achieved.  Act as a reimbursement financial consultant for hospital customers.  Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Business, or Life Sciences with a minimum of two years of medical healthcare products sales experience required.  Experience in interaction with Hospital Administration (CEO, CFO), physicians and Blood Bankers preferred. Poised and professional in self-presentation; understanding of business principles to manage a territory; analytical skills and problem-solving ability; independence and initiative to manage a territory with minimal supervision, and successful management of revenue performance.  Basic computer knowledge and demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs.

Divisional Instructor II – South Central Division

Operate under guidelines from Manager of Instruction – Donor Recruitment Department (DRD).  Travel as necessary within the south central division.  Facilitate learning activities with new and incumbent DRD staff in the duties associated with department operations to enable them to perform competently and in accordance with standard operating procedures. Accountable for ensuring that training conducted is in compliance with applicable procedures and in accordance with program objectives and plans. Provide guidance, advice and mentoring for instructional staff to assist them in developing their skill base.  Assist with the establishment of goals and objectives for divisional departmental operations instruction in cooperation with the divisional instructional team and regional whole blood collections management.
