Division Instructor II – Fundamentals & Continuing Education (Grade 10) Full-Time

Job Description

Familiar with all aspects of initial and cross-functional training for new and incumbent staff members. Function as a member of the division/business unit training team. Assist in planning and facilitating initial and cross-functional training for new and incumbent staff members. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the division/business unit and the American Red Cross Biomedical Services (ARCBS). Promote organizational culture of positive public relations at all times to promote a professional image of the ARCBS. Promote organizational culture of strict compliance with policies and procedures to ensure SQUIPP. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures, Safety Quality Identity Potency Purity (SQUIPP), regulations outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other applicable Federal, state and local regulations .Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education and/or experience. Minimum of 3 years in department operations to include fully successful completion of most recent competency assessment. Proven ability to present information verbally and visually to groups of various sizes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to adapt to irregular hours and schedule changes with little notice. Must be able to travel regularly and for extended periods of time (up to 2 weeks). Must be computer literate and able to perform tasks using American Red Cross programs. Ability to balance production, customer service and compliance to ensure the integrity of American Red Cross products and able to deliver training for and competently perform all phases of department operations according to American Red Cross procedures.  Proven ability to present information verbally and visually to groups of varying sizes. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Variable Monday-Sunday schedule.
