Problem Management, Problem Investigator Associate
Accountable for ensuring the adequate management of problem investigations.
Provides the necessary expertise and guidance and interacts with operations and quality assurance staff to ensure problem investigations are accurately identified, documented, investigated, and that corrective actions and effectiveness checks are adequate to solve problems, and that timeframe requirements outlined in the problem management policy and procedures are met. Gains and maintains the confidence and support of staff at all levels to advance process control, compliance and quality improvement efforts and influence culture change by serving as an advocate and resource for quality and efficiency improvement. Ensures that immediate action is taken by the appropriate department when risk to donor, patient or organization is identified as outlined in the policy and procedures for the PM System. Responsible for notification to the Supervisor and Manager, QAPM of all levels of deficiencies within the PM system.
Qualifications: 2 Year degree in relevant discipline required. 3 years relevant work experience required, preferably in problem management, quality assurance, or regulated industry; Red Cross experience highly desired. Advanced analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including persuasion, effective communication, objectivity, assertiveness, and thoroughness are required. Demonstrated effective verbal and written skills. Must be proactive, self-motivated and have strong collaborative abilities. Must display tact, diplomacy and professionalism in difficult situations. Must protect the confidentiality of sensitive information. Organizational and time management skills required.
